Lab Tested Treats and Toys in the Pup Joy Box

Lucy takes her job here at Wear Wag Repeat very seriously! She’s the Lab responsible for testing every treat and toy that comes through our door. She’s been putting in overtime lately to test out the new treats and toys we received in the Pup Joy box. This was our first time receiving this box (it was provided to us complimentary, but the opinions in this post are 100% honest).

This box gives you lots of options! You can choose how many boxes you want and how often you get them, specify allergies and what types of toys you want depending on if our dog is tough chewer or loves to snuggle their plush babies… Lucy is a little bit of both, so we ordered a combo box!

Right off the bat, I’m a sucker for packaging. The hot pink inside the box was a nice surprise! Everything was tucked inside the box very nicely and everything was in great condition. Lucy was particularly excited about how many treats came in this box. They are all a big hit, but I think the winner is Bo’s Bones because of the cute clover shape, perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, the size of the treats and how nice and crunchy they are! Just look at how intensely Lucy is staring at that treat! It’s definitely Lab approved!

This box also came with three very different toys. I love the rubber Soda Pup Beer Bottle toy because it can be stuffed with treats or peanut butter and keep Lucy busy! Rubber toys like this are great for us. We also got this crazy robot looking thing that had a Himalayan Yak Milk Chew inside of it. Lucy loves those chews, so I thought this would end up being her favorite. I left it out for her to play with when I was out of the house for a few hours and when I came back she had taken it apart (apparently all the pieces can be moved around for different combinations), and chewed the pieces so they can’t be put back together again. Oops. So much for that one! That toy is also made from hard plastic so when she dropped it on the hardwood floors it made a loud noise and I worried about it scratching the floor.

Moving on, Lucy’s favorite toy in the box, after extensive Lab testing, is the organic cotton cow stuffed animal. I love this toy because it looks like it’s for a baby, not a dog, so it’s really cute to see Lucy carry it around! She loves to suckle on her stuffed animals, so I’m happy to know this one is made with organic cotton so it’s better to have in her mouth than some other things!
