BlogPaws 2017: The Ultimate Dog Mom Road Trip

Lucy and I took the ultimate dog mom road trip to get to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for BlogPaws 2017, the annual conference for pet bloggers and industry influencers. This was the biggest trip Lucy and I have ever taken together, so I was excited to share so many new memories and experiences with her. I planned our trip so that we could take a few days to drive down and back to Myrtle Beach since it’s about 10 hours away.

Along the way I filmed a video diary of our trip and all the stylish dog mom fun we enjoyed, including hikes, shopping and we visited downtown Charlottesville top restaurants in Virginia and then moved to North Carolina and all the excitement of the conference including winning an award for Best Pet Blog Design!

Somehow I managed to squeeze more than a week into about seven minutes! Check out these blog posts that go into details about our trip: Dog Friendly Raleigh & What it feels like to have an Award Winning Blog.

Ultimate Dog Mom Road Trip Video Journal

I want to extend a huge thank you to all the amazing people we met along the way, many of whom helped me take some of this video footage! The pet blogging community that comes out for BlogPaws is full of inspirational people and pets that have reignited my passion for what I do.

Below are just a few photos from the conference showing BlogPaws’ Chloe DeVita, our friend Rochelle from The Broke Dog presenting at her session and Lucy and I stopping by the Pet World Insider media booth. View more conference photos by Carl Kerridge Photography.

There’s also a great write up about BlogPaws on the Consumers Advocate blog. It’s a long, in-depth piece that features a lot of the people and highlights of the week. Look for a cameo by your’s truly!

Thank you to Up Country Inc. for providing Lucy’s collar and leash wardrobe for the conference! We got a lot of compliments on the Seaglass pattern and the Alligator/Palm Tree print. Plus, they also coordinated perfectly with my own outfits!

It was so great to meet you in person! What an awesome week – we did fit something fun in every day of the trip. Now Lucy is spoiled and wants to do more than watch me work every day! LOL

Hi Miss Tori & Lucy! CONCATS on your BlogPaws win! And what a pawsome video of your trip! Mom & I enjoyed it very much. You two are great on camera & video! My doggie minion, Bessie, wishes she could’ve gone to the dog parks with you & Lucy! Which park was Lucy’s favorite? I wish my flat self would’ve gotten a pic with Lucy, but there is always next year! Paw waves! Mew Mew!

Thank you! Wish we could have met Bessie and gotten a picture with flat Valentine! The Shirlington dog park we visited was the best by far! If you’re ever in the DC area, it’s worth a visit!
