I’m so excited to bring you the Official Wear Wag Repeat Gift Guide with 12 must have gifts for stylish dog moms! Lucy and I personally tried every item here and have determined that they are some of the best gifts of the season.
As I was thinking about what stands out most to me with these items, I realized it’s the people behind each of them. To put together a guide like this, I worked closely with the people behind each brand. They are all passionate about their items and how much you will enjoy them – and I couldn’t agree more!
12 Must Have Gifts for Stylish Dog Moms
There’s something for absolutely every kind of dog mom here, whether you own a Boxer or a bichon! From essentials (like treats) to a dream gift (did someone say Italian car?). I hope you enjoy browsing and shopping for fun dog inspired holiday gifts. Tell them Lucy sent you!

Stylish Dog: Pups Who Pack Collar
Pups Who Pack is a brand of fashionable dog accessories designed by Maggie Modena. Each season Maggie releases new prints (designed by herself) in limited quantities. Everything is made in Eugene, Oregon which means Maggie works with high quality materials and kind, skilled people. The collar I’m featuring is the Inkblot pattern, I love how it pops on Lucy’s dark fur. It’s also available in a bandana, leash and signature harness dog backpack!
You can learn more about Maggie and her creative process on the Wear Wag Repeat Podcast. Collar: $21.95.
Subscription Box: Puptown Girl Box
2019 Update: Puptown Girl Box is no longer available, but we love the Real Dog Box subscription! Check that out instead! Use this link to get a free bag of treats in your first box.
If you’re looking for a subscription box specifically designed for stylish dog moms, let me introduce you to Puptown Girl Box! I love this box, the concept, and the women behind it. They curate each month’s box with a fun theme, one of my favorites was “All You Need Is Love.. And a Dog!” back in February. Pictured here is the November box that was full of baking essentials that Lucy was pretty interested in.
I think subscription boxes are a great gift idea. In fact, last year I gifted one of my sisters with Puptown Girl Box. It’s the gift that keeps on giving! Subscription Box: $39.99 (Get 10% off with code: LUCY10)
Art Lover: Mary Evelyn Studio Art Watercolor Dog Print
Dog art is something that every dog mom loves! I actually have a whole gallery wall of dog art in my office, and one of the prints included is this watercolor and ink by Mary Evelyn Studio Art. I met Mary Evelyn through Instagram, she asked if she could paint Lucy and include her in the selection of prints available in her shop. What she created is absolutely stunning and perfect for anyone who loves Chocolate Labradors!
You can order this print, or choose from a Bulldog or Frenchie (aka @bossybully and @kylosworld on Instagram). If there’s time, you can also commission a custom portrait! Print: $18.
For Dirty Dogs: Drypet Towel
If your dog is anything like Lucy, then you probably go through a lot of towels! Lucy gets in water as often as dogly possible and it usually takes me about 3 regular bath towels to dry her off. Ain’t nobody got time for that! I’m so excited about this new microfiber pet towel by Drypet because it’s super absorbent, antibacterial and it’s as big as me!
This towel dries faster than regular towels, which means that Lucy and I can get back to snuggling much faster than before. I love this as a gift because it’s perfect for every dog owner and any lifestyle. Keep one in your car and one by the front door and you’ll never have to worry about wet paws again. Drypet is also a woman owned business, and I love to support other women! Drypet Towel, size Large: $19.98.
Gift From the Rainbow Bridge: Healing Hearts Candle
For anyone who has lost a pet, the holidays can be a tough time of year. This Healing Hearts candle by Pet Perennials is such a thoughtful gift for anyone who has sent a pet over the rainbow bridge recently. The lavender and chamomile scented candle has a semiprecious stone heart hidden in the bottom. When you burn your candle down it will reveal the stone which carries a special message that will remind you of your unique bond with your pet.
What’s so great about this is that you don’t know what stone is hidden inside, so every one is a surprise. Once you burn down the candle and find the stone, just rinse it with soap and water then you can carry it in your purse as a keepsake. Pet Perennials will also hand write condolence cards and ship them out with the candle if time is of the essence. Candle: $17.99.
Over The Top Dog Mom: Noble Friends Custom Dog Gift Wrap
I’m so excited about this item! Have you ever dreamed of having custom wrapping paper featuring your dog? I bet you never even knew that was a possibility! Well it is, and it’s amazing. Noble Friends is a design shop run by Carolynn Lemke who creates custom pet portraits that can be turned into many different items (like placemats or PJs). Once you get a portrait completed by Carolynn, she’ll keep it on file and you can order new items without having to pay for new artwork. Check out the Holiday Bundle that comes with a portrait, ornament and wrapping paper!
If you don’t have time to have a custom portrait made before the holidays, there’s also a selection of ready made doggy wrapping paper that will make you and your gift recipient smile! Custom Holiday Bundle: $150.
Pittsburgh Pup: Journeys of Life Stocking Stuffers
Sometimes you find a great shop with so many perfect little gifts that you end up with a whole basket full of goodies! That’s what happened to me at Journeys of Life, a locally owned shop in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Journeys carries a wide variety of items and actually has a whole bookstore on the second floor. The shop is dog friendly and will gladly share some love and a treat with your pup of you bring them in!
I couldn’t pick just one item to feature in my guide, so instead, I’m sharing a lot of stocking stuffer ideas. The items below are mostly under $20, so they are perfect for your dog walker, vet, dog park friends or as a hostess gift. One of my favorite items is the City Wrap Sport Scarf that has a hidden zippered pocket in the scarf, perfect for your phone, poo bags, treats and a house key! Another great pick is the holiday door ornament that can be customized with your pet’s name! Stocking Stuffers: $6 – $30.
Did Someone Say “Treats”: Vita Bone Artisan Inspired® Biscuits
Lucy discovered Vita Bone® treats while we were at the BlogPaws conference in May, and they immediately became her favorite treat. I’m not sure what kind of holiday magic they sprinkle in there, but the Turkey Stuffing & Cranberry Flavor had Lucy wagging and drooling like I’ve never seen. I joke that she would do anything for a Vita Bone! Check her out jumping up on the table while I took photos and giving me some serious puppy eyes just to get another treat!
Their treats are available at Walmart, or check the store locator on their website to find other stores near you. These will make every dog on your list very happy! Vita Bone Treats: $4.65.
Pittsburgh Pawrents: Steel City Dog Mom (and DAD!) Shirt
I’m a proud Steel City Dog Mom! I created this shirt when I realized there were a ton of Pittsburgh pride shirts, and a ton of dog mom shirts, but nothing that combined my two loves. A shirt like this is a great holiday gift for dog lovers living here or who have moved away and want to represent their roots in another city.
Steel City Dog Mom Shirt: $24.99. Also available in Urban Dog Mom and Small Town Dog Mom.
Pick Your Breed: San Francisco Umbrella Company Umbrella
There’s one thing that’s certain about dogs, they need to go for walks… no matter what the weather is like! I first noticed these beautiful umbrellas by San Francisco Umbrella Company a few years ago, so I’m really excited to include them here! They always caught my eye because not only do they have a Lab umbrella, they have 3 different Lab poses and a bunch of colors to choose from! These aren’t just a novelty, they are incredibly well made and even come with a carrying sleeve.
I was also happy to discover that this is a family run business, they were so great to work with! Some of the other breeds they feature are Boxer, Beagle, Border Collie, Chihuahua, Dachshund, Doodle, Bulldog, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Doodle, Shiba Inu, Yorkshire Terrier and more! Dog Breed Umbrella: From $36.00.
Luxe Gift: 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio
You guys know I had to take it to the next level! Lucy and I have developed a major love of road trips and traveling together. So I decided my daydream Christmas wish would be for the 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio! Naturally! It’s a brand new luxury crossover SUV by the most fashionable Italian carmaker. Lucy and I got to check out the car with a Balsato Brown Metallic Exterior (or as I like to call it, Chocolate Lab Brown). It offers conveniences such as remote start, back up camera, speed-sensitive steering, a power open/close tailgate and the signature Alfa Romeo grille.
Lucy would love to have so much room in the cargo area, and I would love to have such a fashionable ride! To learn more, or to schedule your test drive, contact Paul Morando at Ron Lewis Alfa Romeo in the Pittsburgh area, pmorando@ronlewisautomotive.com or 724-776-7400. 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio: starting at $42,008.
For the Adventurers: Molly Mutts Car Seat Cover
Now that we have a fancy new car (in our minds), I need a stylish car seat cover. I actually got this cover by Molly Mutt earlier this Fall, so Lucy and I have had a chance to test it out. I love that it comes in fun prints like Rocket Man, pictured here.
This cover is so thoughtfully designed that it’s actually a 3-in-1 gift! You can use it as a back seat cover, a hammock that attaches to the headrests on the front and back seats, or as a cargo area cover. There are straps and openings to accommodate various set ups and seat belt access. I think the best part is that it comes in 8 fun patterns. I’ve never seen a cover that’s actually stylish until this one! Car Seat Cover: $59.
