If you haven’t noticed, we are deep into gift guide season! Today I’m excited to partner with an amazing group of pet bloggers to bring you 4 Gifts for Pets. Being a dog parent is always exciting since there are a whole host of items that would make the perfect gift for any dog mom or dad, for example, a custom dog picture doormat or a custom dog bowl! Anyway, have you heard of the 4 Gifts concept? It’s new to me! It typically means you would get a lucky person 4 gifts… 1 they Want, 1 they Need, 1 to Wear and 1 to Read. We’ve given it a pet lover spin and replaced read with eat! In this post check out my top picks in the four categories, click through to see everyone else’s picks and make sure you scroll to the bottom to enter our amazing group giveaway! One lucky dog lover will win a CleverPet Hub, and runners up will get gift cards to Amazon, PetSmart or Etsy.
The 4 Gifts for Pet Giveaway Hop is sponsored by CleverPet. The opinions and ideas in this post are my own and are uninfluenced by any other person or business. The individual sponsors are responsible for their giveaway prizes including shipping. This post also contains affiliate links to my hand picked gift picks.
WANT: CleverPet Hub
I have watched videos of the CleverPet Hub and definitely want one for Lucy! It’s like a gaming console for your pup. Lights and buttons work to teach your dog how to get treats out of the dispenser. Since Lucy will do anything for the tiniest of crumbs, I think she would be amazing at this game! This is perfect if you want to treat yourself to a high-tech toy that will chase away the cabin fever blues this winter! It’s available on Amazon for $299, or head over to Clever.Pet and use kolchak-20 to get $20 off!
WEAR: LED Dog Collar
Every November I pull out the LED light up dog collar for Lucy. Since it gets dark around 4pm it’s hard to avoid taking a walk in the dark. Not only does a light up collar look cool and make you feel like you’re walking a robo-dog, but they make you much safer so you can be seen by cars, bikers and other dog walkers. Get one that recharges with a USB cord, like this one! It comes in a lot of colors and sizes, so if you have a multiple dog household each pup could have their own color. $19.99 on Amazon.
NEED: Poo Bag Holder
I’m always on the hunt for a poo bag holder to attach to the leash. The plastic ones seem to break instantly, and the rubbery ones are too hard to get the bags out of. In my hunt, I even tried making a DIY poop bag holder (pictured below)! We are in need of a new solution, and I think this one from Zippy Paws might be perfect. I like that it attaches with velcro so it’s easy to take on and off (we switch leashes often). It’s a bargain at $6 on Amazon!
EAT: Training Treats
I never leave the house without a few little training treats in my pocket. They are great if I need to distract Lucy from something on our walks, or if I need to lure her to me when it’s time to leave the park. I have tried out a ton of treats to find ones that don’t leave crumbs in my pockets. Cuddles from The Honest Kitchen are my absolutely favorite right now! The bag is big enough to last a while, Lucy loves the treats and they leave no trace in my pockets. They are also grain free and available in a few flavors. $11.75 on Amazon.

I want to help your pet to get everything on their wishlist! That’s why I’ve teamed up with a bunch of awesome dog bloggers and the innovators at CleverPet to bring you some fabulous prizes like…

my dog needs a new bed
I’ll make sure Santa knows! : )
my dog needs a new bed this holiday! She decided to chew hers up and now its all ragy!
There are so many cute beds to choose from!
Dexter needs more chicken!
You can never have enough!
Twiggy needs clothes. She’s an iggy and gets cold if the wind blows the wrong way haha! I live in Ohio and winters are harsh. I haven’t been able to afford any. Thank you ❤️
There are so many holiday deals, hopefully you can find something affordable and snuggly!
Hmm… I don’t know that they really NEED much because they always get what they want. Hehehe. I am planning to get them a new collar and leash set each though!
I feel ya! Lucy doesn’t really NEED anything, but new collars and leashes are always a good call!
He doesn’t need anything since he’s spoiled but he will get some peanut butter bones which are his favorite and new squeaky toys. 🙂
Sounds perfect! Peanut Butter is always a great gift LOL
My dog needs treats!
Needs them!!!
We always get our dogs new toys for Christmas! If we’re lucky, some of them will last the year
A whole year! Must be good toys!
Just more toys and treats.
you can never have enough!
Treats and toys
The essentials!
my dog needs some new toys!
What are his favorites?
Food, food and more food. And treats.
That’s a solid wish list!
The pups need new toys and a knew cushion for their dog bed.
Check out Zippy Paws, they have some fun toys!
My Boston, Cain, needs a new collar. His brother chewed his!
Oops! New collar time!
Pacha needs a flotation device/life vest for swimming (even though Labs are supposedly natural swimmers). We plan to do a lot of beach trips in the coming months – after all, we do live in a tropical country with 7107 islands! And we hope to take her with us around the country
Where do you live? Sounds amazing!
in the Philippines
Coco needs more treats!!!!
Never enough treats!
My chihuahua needs a good, warm jacket that is not too bulky and that she doesn’t feel constrained by. She LOVES winter walks and last year I layered her up with a sweater and a coat, she kind of hated it. She is so tiny and close to the ground she gets cold too quickly for anything lighter.
I don’t know much about tiny dogs, but I have tried booties before and they really help to keep my dogs warm!
My dog needs a new bed. Thank you for the giveaway!
New bed is a great gift!
Galen needs a new water bottle for his backpack. One is leaky so we have to put it in a ziplock bag to keep the rest of his gear dry.
I’ve heard HydroFlask is really good and doesn’t leak
Our dog needs a harness.
Good pick!
training treats and a better collar
Pick up the Cuddles treats I link to in the post, they are great! We also love Zukes.
My cat could benefit from more cardboard scratchers, because she loves tearing things up! (Her only bad habit).
Better to give her something to scratch up then let her find her own!
Honey needs the same thing at Christmas she needs all year round–to flirt with every stranger she meets.
LOL! That sounds like a pretty good way to spend the holidays! I might have to do it too!
He definitely needs a new bed!
New treats
My dogs don’t need anything in particular this holiday season. But they will get lots of belly rubs, and other goodies.
Belly rubs are always appreciated!
We love glowing collars, but they never last for us so we now have clip on lights. Mom loves to watch the colored dots race around the yard in the dark!
That works too! I love the USB rechargeable collars, so easy to charge up. I had battery ones a loooong time ago and they didn’t last long.
Would love an LED collar
I love them!
My dogs need me home more with them at the holidays…and they get it! 🙂
So awesome! I bet you’ll enjoy being with them more, too!
My dog needs a new large bed since she has outgrown her old one.
My sweet senior dog Sammi needs a new bed.
My dog needs a new dog bed for Christmas!
My dog needs new toys, we keep losing them.
Luma needs more things to chew on so her teeth stay clean.
Two birds with one stone! Fun and healthy!
My dogs don’t need but would love new toys so that’s what they will get.
Sounds like they will love it!
My dog needs a new bed. He’s getting too big to lay on his favorite pillow.
Time to upgrade!
Some snow boots, since we just moved back to a wintery climate!
Essential for Winter dog walking!
My dog needs a new antler! He loves to chew them!
Lucy loves those two! Maybe Santa will have an extra to leave behind : )
My dogs could use a couple of new dog beds so they would have ones in the TV room, too!
It’s good to have comfy options in every room!
My girl needs the gift of nothing this Christmas. She is one of the lucky dogs in this world who found her forever home (ours, of course!) after being taken in by a breed rescue. Although she doesn’t need a thing, she’s receiving homemade treats and some new toys. Because she is the Best Dog in the World!
She sounds like a lucky girl!
My cat could use a new food dish – I’d like to find one that’s small because we’ve switched from free feeding to feeding her measured amounts twice a day, plus shallow enough that it won’t bother her whiskers. She’s already spoiled with a fountain water dish and several beds & cat trees!
I’ve seen some pretty ceramic small cat dishes lately, I’m sure you’ll find a great one!
Winston needs a new collar for his DIY popcraft handsome bow!
He’s going to be so well accessorized!!
My puppies need more treats this holiday.
She needs another bed 🙂
He is running low on chews which he thinks is a necessity. Plus a LED leash would be nice!
Lots of love, and some new toys to play with. 🙂
We need to pick up a new hair dryer for grooming time and something they would actually like is some extra turkey/chicken treats.
My little old man dog needs a heated bed.
