BORED DOG? FETCH ACTIVITIES TO BOOST YOUR PUP’S BRAIN POWER!

Jumping In The Bath With All-Natural Rufus & Coco

Does your dog find every mud puddle in the park? With two labradors I now have eight muddy paws on my hands after a good hike in the woods. In the Summer I can wash the dogs outside, then when temperatures drop we head into the bathtub and grab our favorite dog shampoo. It can be hard to find the right pH balanced product that smells great… but it’s finally here! See why we’re jumping in the bath with all-natural Rufus & Coco!

Did you know that dog shampoo with natural, completely non-toxic ingredients is better for your pup than human shampoo? Actually, dog skin has a different pH level to humans. A human’s shampoo is around 200 times too acidic for a pet’s skin! So if you’re not already using a dog specific shampoo, then make sure you pick some up this week. Rufus & Coco just launched at 1,400 PetSmart stores so it should be easy to find!

We received the whole line to try (I’ll get to the dry shampoo in a bit!) and I decided to go with the Sea Me Shine 2 in 1 wash on Lucy and Burt for their bath. The shampoo contains Australian Sea Minerals that say they give a deep, fresh clean and added shine. Deep cleaning is definitely what we need!

All of the formulas are concentrated, so a little goes a long way. I felt like it lathered up really well and could get deep into Lucy’s super thick fur. I also love the scent of all the shampoos, they were very subtle and sort of manly and beachy. Definitely a thumbs up from me!

Now can we talk about the dry shampoo? I’ve said to myself many times that I wish there was a dry shampoo for dogs. Apparently somebody at Rufus & Coco was listening because they created this Water Free Wash. On the bottle it says it’s great for dogs who don’t like getting wet – if only I had that problem! I would love to use this in the winter when I don’t have the energy for a full blown dog bath and all the clean up afterwards.

I tried it out on Burt and the powder rubs in really well. It didn’t leave him feeling sticky (like some human dry shampoos have done to my hair!) and after a quick brush the white powder totally disappeared. I’m excited to use this again and again!

It should go without saying, but I’ll mention it anyhow… these are all paraben and sulfate free. I only buy clean products for myself so it’s great to be able to find the same quality for the dogs. Rufus & Coco is made in Australia where they have some of the highest product standards in the world, even higher than here in the US! It’s no wonder they’re Australia’s most awarded pet brand.

Are you ready to try these shampoos? I especially recommend you get your hands on the powder. Learn more about the brand and find the PetSmart store closest to you that carries it. Then make like Lucy and take a nap! Getting a bath can be so exhausting!
