I love taking my dogs with me everywhere, even shopping! There’s something so fun about having your pup in the dressing room with you or by your side to pick out the perfect gift. A few months ago I set out to find dog friendly shops across America. I looked for independently owned shops and boutiques that carry clothing, jewelry, outdoor gear, furniture, gifts and more!

As Wear Wag Repeat has grown, I’ve gained readers all over the country! I discovered that a lot of my readers didn’t know about dog friendly shops in their areas. Whenever I post about shopping with Lucy and Burt I get a lot of questions about where dogs are welcome. I thought this list of 70 of the best dog friendly shops across America would be a great resource for all my readers!

All of these independently owned shops and boutiques allow your dog to shop alongside you. Thanks to the research for this post I now really want to go to Bozeman, Montana and Cleveland, Ohio!

When you visit any of the 70 business across 50 states (and the District of Columbia!) on this list, not only will you have a memorable day with your dog, but you’ll also be supporting a small business owner.

The best part is that every place on this list came with a personal recommendation or I personally reached out to the shop to make sure they love puppies. Wilmington, Delaware

Vintage Pantry This dog friendly shop supports local artisans and carries all sorts of fun and practical home goods. The owner warns that there are a lot of smells in the shop which can be overwhelming for some pups, so just be aware.
