Canine Enrichment Expert for Pup O’Clock Subscription Box

I’ve partnered with a new subscription box called Pup O’Clock as their official Canine Enrichment Specialist! I’m thrilled about this collaboration that brings dog enrichment activities to families across the country.

In this post, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know about this exciting partnership: what Pup O’Clock is, how I’m creating enrichment activities for their subscription boxes, what’s included in each box, who these boxes are perfect for (hint: families with kids and dogs!), and how you can sign up to get in on the fun.

I’ve been having a blast working on this project, and I can’t wait to share all the details with you!

Why This Dog Enrichment Subscription Box Is Different

When I first heard about what Pup O’Clock is doing, I was immediately drawn to their unique approach. There aren’t many products in the pet industry designed for kids and dogs together. This fills an important need!

Although I don’t have kids myself, I have nephews and many friends with children. I truly believe that to create more responsible, compassionate pet owners in the future, we need to start with the younger generation.

It’s challenging to change established habits in adults, but we have a wonderful opportunity to teach kids about responsible dog ownership from the beginning.

What’s Inside the Pup O’Clock Subscription Box

In addition to the Pup O’Clock team and Dr. Daisy, I’m creating a fresh dog enrichment activity for every monthly box. It’s been fun to create enrichment ideas that work for a variety of dogs and family situations.

Check out this video that explains what the Pup O’Clock box is all about:

The Flagship Box: Your Starting Point

When you first subscribe to Pup O’Clock, you’ll start with the flagship box. I’m really excited about this because it helps families get started with a strong foundation of how to take care of their dog.

The enrichment activity in the Flagship Box is a fun detective game to help you discover what your dog naturally enjoys doing.

This helps you identify what types of enrichment activities would work best for your dog, your family, and your lifestyle.

Monthly Themed Adventures

After the flagship box, you’ll receive themed monthly boxes. The themes range from sports, to travel, to military dogs and summer fun.

Here’s a sneak peak of what will be included in the Travel themed box:

  • A SodaPup slow feeder bowl inspired by the great outdoors
  • A fun “picnic with your dog” activity that I created
  • Dog-friendly wrap sandwich recipes from Dr. Daisy (the box’s veterinary expert)
  • Travel tips from my friend Sharon and her dog Teddy, who has been on over 150 flights!
  • plus more!!

Every box contains high-quality toys from Soda Pup, treats, and other ideas that strengthen the bond between families and their dogs.

The focus is on creating positive routines that help kids discover that taking care of their dog can be both fun and rewarding.

My Approach to Dog Enrichment

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I believe dog enrichment should be fun, easy, and affordable for everyone. Too often, people overthink enrichment or make it too complicated – or worse, they think of it as a way to keep their dog occupied while they’re busy.

Activities that Strengthen the Bond with Your Dog

Enrichment is actually an opportunity to bond with your dog, build their confidence, and strengthen your relationship together. That’s the philosophy I’m bringing to Pup O’Clock!

Each enrichment activity I create is broken down to be simple and easy to understand. Not only is this great for kids, but it’s perfect for any pet parent who wants to provide enrichment without feeling overwhelmed.

The boxes include toys and treats you can use for the activities, plus I recommend everyday household items you can incorporate – making enrichment accessible to everyone.

A detailed view of the Pup O’Clock box contents, including illustrated trading cards of dog experts, an enrichment activity booklet featuring a cartoon dog named Pup, stickers, a plush toy, and a whiteboard marker. A speech bubble on the booklet reads, “Hello! I’m Pup, your guide to the Pup O’Clock adventure.”

A Family Experience That Brings Everyone Together

That’s exactly what makes Pup O’Clock special – it’s designed specifically for families with both kids and dogs. Each monthly dog subscription box is thoughtfully curated to provide education, enrichment, and entertainment for the whole family, with activities that pets and kids can enjoy together.

The Science Behind the Fun

While we all know dogs need physical exercise, healthy food, and regular vet care, they also need to exercise their brains. Mental stimulation is crucial for a dog’s well-being.

As my trading card in the flagship box explains: bored dogs can get into trouble (think chewed-up shoes or dug-up flower beds). A dog’s brain needs just as much exercise as their body.

That’s where enrichment comes in – providing activities that engage your dog’s natural instincts and abilities in positive ways. When kids participate in these activities, they not only help their dog but also learn valuable lessons about animal care and responsibility.

Supporting with Animal Shelters Nationwide

Another aspect of Pup O’Clock that really resonated with me is their commitment to giving back. A portion of proceeds from every box goes to support shelters nationwide, including Humane Animal Rescue Pittsburgh right in my backyard! This partnership allows me to get even more involved with shelter work, which is something I’m passionate about.

It’s rare that I get to meet people I work with in person, so I was thrilled when Brian (the founder of Pup O’Clock) and I connected right here in Pittsburgh!

He’s been so great about letting me run with my enrichment ideas, and I’m excited to see where this partnership goes.

The box lid reads "Pup O’Clock – Puppies Are Around the Clock Care." The café features warm lighting, brick walls, and patrons working at tables in the background.

The best way to follow this new partnership is to make sure you’re following both Pup O’Clock and me across social platforms. I’ll be doing an unboxing every month with plenty of time for you to subscribe and get in on the fun!

If you know families with kids and dogs, please share this dog subscription box with them. It’s a wonderful way to teach children about responsible pet ownership while creating meaningful experiences for the whole family.

I’m excited to use my canine enrichment certification and expertise to reach even more people through this partnership. Creating content that helps people bond with their dogs in healthy, enriching ways is truly my passion, and Pup O’Clock is the perfect platform for this mission.
