Podcast Episode 154: Highlights and Lessons Learned in 2 years as a Full-Time Dog Blogger

I started my blog as a hobby almost 8 years ago. I thought I’d use it to document my love of style and dogs. My original tag line was “I wear it, they wag it, then we repeat!”

Although I had my site for many years, I didn’t go full time with it until 2019. In this episode, I’m going to share with you how made the leap to full-time dog blogger, some of the highlights of the last 2 years and the most important lessons I’ve learned.

I hope my story helps you brainstorm ways to grow your own pet-obsessed business!

Insights from 2 Years As a Full-Time Dog Blogger

When I started my blog, I had no idea that years later I’d proudly consider myself a member of the pet industry. It’s been such a great experience to learn about all the amazing people and products that can help dogs live their best lives.

One lesson I learned is that who you surround yourself with and your values are so important to long-term success as a blogger. This is probably the most important foundation of becoming a full-time blogger.

Another cool thing I realized while putting together this episode… If it weren’t for the success of my blog, my courses, membership society and podcast wouldn’t exist! It’s all tied together and it’s been really cool to see how everything grows.

What it’s like to be a Full-Time Dog Blogger Including:

  • What Tori did before going full-time with Wear Wag Repeat
  • The funny story of how Tori worked for a strip club (it’s not what you think!!)
  • What made Tori decide to go full-time with her business
