On this episode, I’m talking with two friends who started their own online doggy boutique with a twist. The Gift Spawt is designed so that you can send special birthday, holiday or thinking of you gifts to your Instagram dog friends anywhere in the world. They’re sharing their best advice for working with a friend and tips on growing an engaged Instagram community – spoiler alert, being authentic is super important for both! Since this episode is coming out during peak holiday gifting season, I hope it inspires you to send a special something to the dogs that bring you so much joy all year long!
Exchange Gifts with Your Instagram Dog Friends
Allison Katz and Mariana Mesquita are the co-founders of Gift Spawt, a one-stop-shop for sending dog gifts, stuffed toys, and personalized care packages to your doggy friends all over the world. Back in 2016, these two women became friends the way many of us do these days… through their dogs’ Instagram accounts! And a year later they launched a feature account called @dogswithstuffedanimals that they’ve grown to over 77,000 followers. When they witnessed all the positive vibes created by this community they thought, “What if friends could send each other gifts using just an Instagram username?” And that’s exactly what Gift Spawt does
