I’m kicking off Pet Dental Health Awareness Month by talking with Gail Beregovich and her son Andres of Jax & Cali. Gail and Andres walk me through coming up with the idea for paw wipes, lessons they learned trying to sell their product door to door at pet shops around the country, and the importance of listening to feedback from industry professionals.
Dental Hygiene for Dogs with Jax & Cali
Gail Beregovich began her career as a High School Accounting and Business Economics teacher. Some years later she entered the Hotel and Resort Hospitality field where she worked for 25+ years. Thinking she would retire… Gail changed directions and became an unexpected entrepreneur along with her son Andres, an attorney. Their brand Jax + Cali is a female-owned, family-run business dedicated to the well-being of our BFFs (best furry friends). Frustrated with grooming wipes for her two dogs, Gail set out to create a better product. Jax & Cali wipes are all-natural, pH balanced, large enough to clean 2 sets of paws, durable, contain no harsh chemicals, they’re PETA approved and vegan. Plus, they just clean really well! In addition to grooming wipes, Jax and Cali also recently introduced dental wipes.
