Lucy is getting accustomed to seeing her beautiful brown eyes in print lately! In case you missed it, we had the pleasure of being featured in Whirl Magazine’s event guide issue with a really fun photo! This month a second publication came out with a little feature on us. Sabika Jewelry is a company based right here in the Pittsburgh area, but their reach is nationwide.
I love the ethos behind this brand, check out the mission statement from their website, “A company by women for women, our jewelry is made for every woman, every day. Sabika was founded with the intent of bringing beauty, joy and opportunity to women of all ages and diverse backgrounds, and delivers a new level of fun and sophistication to the home party experience.”
Posing With My Dog in The Sabika Spring Look Book
Sabika reached out to me in the Fall about including Lucy and I in the Spring catalog. Since their collection is primarily sold at home parties, I knew that meant the catalog would end up in the hands of many stylish women – and I bet you a lot of them love their dogs! It sounded like the perfect fit to me!
The photoshoot was held on an unusually warm and sunny Fall day at a really cool vintage homewares store just outside of the city. I brought along Lucy’s wardrobe of 3 or 4 different bandanas (handmade by your’s truly!), and Sabika provided some really cool outfits for me to wear on the shoot.
I really loved the first outfit with cropped, high waisted, wide leg pants paired with my own rose gold brogues and a statement white blouse. I could totally go from meetings, to a dog walk, then out to dinner in that.
The second look was more feminine and glamorous. I wouldn’t usually recommend wearing white lace around your dog, but for the photos it was perfect! As you can see, we used a few treats to get the perfect shot. That’s always a must when photographing dogs!
Since the catalog came out and Spring jewelry parties have started I’ve been getting a few messages from friends who spotted Lucy and I! It’s really fun to partner with a brand that loves to support creative women as much as I do. Catalog photos shot for Sabika Jewelry by Alexandra Ribar.

Beautiful as always Tori!! And Lucy is such a pro at photo shoots! The jewelry is beautiful, though I’m not familiar with the brand. I will be looking out for them!
Okay, her looking at the catalog is too cute! Also you look stunning as always.
Lucy loves to admire photos of herself! LOL Thank you so much!
