Since rescuing my dog Burt in September 2018, I’ve become a passionate advocate for senior dog rescue. I love talking about this to podcasts and other media outlets. I’m lucky to be able to use my platform to raise awareness about animal rescue. Check out some of the outlets I’ve been featured in.

From July 2021: In this episode of the Pawareness podcast, we have the opportunity to talk with Tori Mistick. Tori is a full-time blogger who helps pet owners achieve the best lifestyle with their pets. She shares how she started her blog by documenting significant moments with her chocolate labradors on platforms such as Instagram and her personal website.

After receiving a massive following, she began providing online courses about how to grow on social media. On top of this, she hosts the Wear Wag Repeat podcast, where she talks with inspiring women in the pet industry. She also maintains an online business and speaks at events that highlight the success of female entrepreneurs.

Tori puts emphasis on the impact of connections. When starting out, she got connected with a number of like-minded individuals who are interested in spreading awareness about pets and finding success in the industry. She shares her passion for teaching, which is manifested in her online courses, and her interest in helping people succeed in what they love to do.

She also shares how she rescued one of her special needs labs and how he became her inspiration to help pet owners provide what their pets need.
