Where to Shop Local for Stella & Chewy’s

I’ve been feeding the dogs Stella & Chewy’s for over a year now. I love that they make a high-quality food that incorporates raw nutrition in an easy way and the single ingredient treats have made training time a lot more fun for Lucy and Burt! But one of my favorite things about Stella & Chewy’s is that they’re available at local neighborhood pet stores.

I love shopping local whenever possible. Since Small Business Week happens every May, it’s a great opportunity to support small businesses. We’re lucky to have several independently owned options nearby. Click here to find a small business near you that carries Stella + Chewy’s.

I love the extra attention we get at locally owned pet supplies shop. The people working there are always bonefide dog lovers and understand the crazy food motivated mindset of my labs! Lucy and Burt can be a little intense in stores… but our favorite small businesses don’t mind.

I took Lucy and Burt to Petland to check out the selection they have in the store. The full Stella & Chewy’s product line is available at local neighborhood pet stores. And if you’re looking for kibble and wet food options, they’re actually exclusive to local neighborhood pet stores. You gotta try Stella’s Stew! It makes a great topper and comes in a bunch of yummy flavors.

Petland had a whole wall devoted to Stella & Chewy’s as well as a freezer for the frozen raw patties and morsels and another rack of treats like Wild Weenies.

Like I mentioned earlier, I love shopping local because Burt and Lucy get so much attention. One of the girls working at Petland spent a good 5 minutes on the floor rubbing Burt’s belly. He was in heaven! And of course, Lucy made sure to get a special treat. That girl never misses an opportunity!

One of the other cool things about Petland is that they always have adoptable rescue dogs and cats on site. There were two ridiculous little puppies right up front when we went in during Small Business Week. They were only 10 weeks old and spent the whole time trying to get out to play with Burt and Lucy.
