Hugs Pet Products has some seriously cool products for your dog. We recently got the chance to test out the Chilly Mad, Hydro Bone, Silicone Treat Pan and a few other toys. These things are literally cool… they can all go in the freezer to help your doggy chill out on hot days. Although Fall is hitting most of the US, there are still some hot days to come (this weekend it’s going to be in the 80s!). Lola squeezed onto the smaller sized Chilly Mat, but there are Large and XLarge sizes available too.
Lola wasn’t so into the Hydro Bone or Hydro Ball because Lola is solely motivated by food… but Lucy did like playing with the Hydro toys. They have a little spot to stick a treat in, so you can do that too. Lola just isn’t that into rubbery toys, she’s an old lady and knows what she likes! The Hydro toys can be soaked in water and then frozen so they release some water as your dog plays with them, making them a fun and hydrating toy for hot days. Win, win!
The Hugs product I am most excited about is this silicone treat pan. You can put it in the oven OR in the freezer. Genius! Being a crazy dog mom who has made treats for my dogs several times, I can attest that cutting them out with little bone shaped cookie cutters is the most time consuming part. This pan has the bone shapes built right in, so you can just pour the dough right in and pop it in the oven. It’s going to save us a ton of time. But that’s not all folks… this can also go in the freezer! So you can make a little pumpkin, peanut butter mix and freeze it up for your doggies. I can’t wait to use this, I’ll be sure to share recipes and photos soon!
