Dog momming ain’t easy! I’ve had dogs for pretty much half my life, and over the years I figured out a lot of hacks to make the dog mom life a little easier. For example, I’ve raised a few puppies and learned to put up the water bowl after 8pm to avoid overnight accidents. And thanks to crazy labrador tails I know not to put anything on the coffee table! This isn’t a photo I planned on including in this post! But as I was getting Lucy to pose for the photo above and to look at me adoringly, I stuck treats on top of my head and held them in my mouth to keep her focus. I had to laugh at myself when I realized that I was living the ultimate #DogMomTruth: I’ll do anything for a cute photo! And Lucy will do anything for a treat. So, I guess we’re the perfect pair!
