I love seeing dogs in fashion ads and editorials. I know firsthand how hard it is to get a good shot of dogs, so I really appreciate what the models and photographers have to go through. They have made some really beautiful images!

I don’t see too many Chocolate Labs in fashion magazines, but one breed that has been featured many times in the Weimeraner. They are such beautiful dogs and their large size is often a great juxtaposition to the delicate models.

First up are the gorgeous duo featured in Acne’s Spring/Summer 2013 ad campaign. Photographer William Wegman is responsible for the images, and the dogs! He has featured his two Weimeraners in his artwork before.

Another iconic campaign from recent years features an elegant Weimeraner and the inimitable Coco Rocha – arguably the real Top Model of our time. This image is from Longchamp’s Spring/Summer 2012 campaign. I love how their poses play off of each other, and I imagine that this pup was very excited to get to work with Coco. I know I would be!

This campaign also included a little video of Coco running around town with the dog. Apparently it’s a play on Longchamp’s brand history of hunting with horses and dogs, because you find out that the dog is really racing to catch up with a horse. I often frolic around like this in sky high wedges with my dogs pulling me around, I’ll have to try looking as glam as Coco does next time!

Last but not least, is an adorable picture that isn’t really a fashion ad, but an image from a vintage Life magazine of a little girl with a Weimeraner puppy.
