February BarkBox Treats

As I’ve mentioned before, I”m always ridiculously late in writing our BarkBox reviews. This one is especially late, I don’t know what happened! But the girls managed to eat half the contents of the box already. Oops! There was still enough to photograph, so scroll down and check out what we got, what we loved, and what we could live without.

The box contains: R2P squeaky Football; Loving Pets Barksters Sweet Potato & Beef Crisps; Happy Howie’s all natural treats; LICKS Recovery Aid Goo for Athletic Dogs; Your Dogs Diner Mutt Meatballs
Mix.

The first item Lola and Lucy gobbled up were the Happy Howie’s treats, that’s why I only show the packaging in the photo! These were like little dried sausages that you could easily break or cut up into smaller pieces and use how you like. I liked breaking them in half and sticking them inside a rubber toy to keep the girls busier longer. I would buy these again!

The item I was most weary of was the Football. It looked like it would be torn to shreds instantly so I kept it in the box for a while. But I gave it to Lucy the other day and she loves squeaking it! It’s much more durable than it looks – thank you BarkBox for including a toy my dog doesn’t instantly destroy!

We haven’t tried the LICKS good yet, but that will be fun once the weather gets nicer and we can go for a jog. And the Mutt Meatballs mix is a project for another day! You actually add meat to this and cook them – sounds like a good Tasty Tuesday post for next week!

Chocolate Lab Barksters

The only thing I’m not crazy about in this month’s box is the Loving Pets Barksters air puffed treats. They remind me of pork rinds, make a lot of crumbs and left my fingers a little greasy. Not that these are any negatives in Lola and Lucy’s perspectives (notice the tongue out above!), so they will enjoy eating them! I just probably wouldn’t buy them again.

Did you get this BarkBox? What did you think of the contents?
