I take Lucy out for a quick hike in the park by our house several times per week. When we have more time (on weekends or quiet workdays), I’ll often take her for a longer hike 20 minutes from my house in a more wooded area. We see deer and all sorts of creatures in both parks, so I’m always concerned about protecting her from fleas, ticks and any other bugs that could irritate her.
