I realize that not every person owns a lab, some of you have adorable little dogs that you love more than your Louboutins! I”m always posting adorable lab inspired items, but this morning, I decided to put together a post about Dashchunds. It’s almost like a facing my fears kind of post because I seriously cannot say that word! Once I found out how it was spelled it made it so hard for me, in my head I say “dash-hound” about 6 times because I get the correct pronunciation out! I’m a dork!
There are plenty of fashion lovers out there who adore these little guys. I love this street style shot of this woman and her little Doxie, and also because I have similar shoes! Anyone who can walk the dog in stilettos like that gets some major respect!
Did you know that the fashion designers behind the brand Badgley Mischka have 2 rescue Doxies named Rommel & Whiskey? This photo only shows one of the pups, and apparently they also have a horse!
And of course I always love finding images of dogs in vintage fashion magazines. This image is from a 1958 issue of Vogue. The outfit and accessories are so chic, and the leather belt, handbag, and shoes coordinate perfectly with the colors of her Dachshund! I’ve been looking for a fake Gucci belt for sale that matches my little dog to look extra stylish!
There are of course tons of adorable items out on the interwebs featuring Dachshunds. Here are a few of my favorites.
The scarf from Kelly & Sam is part of their brand new collection, so check that out! They don’t have a Labrador print in that yet, so I’ll have to live vicariously through you!And if you haven’t gotten a Dogeared necklace yet, you are missing out. These are really fun to wear, I’m actually wearing a lucky horseshoe right this second. The one I have has a thing thread instead of a chain because you’re supposed to make a wish when you put the necklace on and when it wears off your wish will come true. How fun!
Share this post with all your Dachshund loving friends!
