Living Our Best Life with Stella and Chewy’s

Since I switched Lucy to Stella and Chewy’s a lot has changed. I’ve noticed a lot of benefits for Lucy from the Raw Blend kibble diet like a perkier attitude, better smelling breath and more compact poops (it’s a fact of life people… poop happens!). But the biggest thing that’s changed is we now have a second dog in the house!

Burt is a six year old labrador that I rescued from a local shelter just a few weeks ago. Poor boy was in the shelter for over a year! While there’s so much that I’m excited to do with him, at the top of the list was getting him on a really good diet.

When I first picked up Burt his bowel movements were a mess – which is to be expected with the stress of moving into a new home. He also had a few patches of fur that were lighter than the rest of his coat. It fills me with so much joy to know that both my pups are living their best life with Stella and Chewy’s!

Top 3 Benefits From Stella and Chewy’s

1. No more sensitive stomach issues

I’m so happy to say that after three weeks of a Stella and Chewy’s Raw Coated Kibble diet Burt has his digestion issues under control. He now has much more compact poops.

2. More lustrous coat

Burt’s coat is starting to gleam! I even think that his coat feels softer and fluffier now.

3. Better Breath

This benefit has been for Lucy. She had some stinky breath before we made the switch. I can really tell after she gives me kisses on my face that it’s not as gross as before!

Living Our Best Life with Stella and Chewy's

Since I usually fed Lucy better than I feed myself, it can be hard to notice subtle improvements in her activity when I switch her to a new food. But with Burt the difference is clear! Premium ingredients like grass fed proteins and organic fruits and vegetables are making a huge difference in his life.

With Burt I didn’t have the chance to gradually transition his food because I don’t know what he was eating at the shelter. He went on 100% Stella and Chewy’s as soon as we got home. But when I made the switch with Lucy last month I made sure to do it gradually. It’s definitely easier on them if you have the time to do it that way. If you’re thinking of making the switch read these helpful hints.
