It’s no secret that everyone loves taking photos of their dogs! I like to take it to the next level and seek out cool photo locations for me and Lucy. We recently took a photowalk with a few friends and discovered so many great spots in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Lawrenceville is “so hot right now”, just ask Vogue, The New York Times or Conde Nast Traveller. There are tons of cool walls and doorways to discover there, perfect for your next viral Instagram post.
Do you take your dog on photo walks?
I take Lucy on tons of regular walks in the park and around the neighborhood, but once a month I try to go on a walk especially for photos. This might sounds crazy (I am a crazy dog lady), but it allows us a chance to explore a neighborhood in a new way. I’ve been to Lawrenceville hundreds of times, but never taken photos in these spots before. And now I’ve built a nice memory with Lucy, complete with photos to remember it forever.
I wore a few of my favorite Fall fashion pieces on the walk. I love anything by Skull Cashmere, these distressed jeans are in a very heavy rotation and I have found a way to wear these Rag and Bone boots with pretty much every outfit for the past month! You really can’t go wrong with a lightweight sweater, dark jeans and neutral ankle boots in the Fall. It’s an easy outfit to throw together if you’re short on time, too. What is your go-to Fall outfit?
Many thanks to the #bossbabes who made this photowalk possible: Emily Levenson, Angelica Ross, Megan Dillon and Liz Kennon. We all snapped photos for each other, so photo credits all around!
