What's in the Latest BarkBox?

We’ve been subscribing to BarkBox for quite a while now! Check out recaps from our boxes in June, September and November. You would think they might run out of things to put in these little packages, but each month there is some new fabulous toy or treat. This month is no different. Check out what we got and what we thought below.

BarkBox January

BarkBox January

The box contained: Jax & Bones rope Penguin toy. Superior Farms Lamb Toasters. Plato Turkey with Cranberry treats. Wet Noses biscuit. Barkworthies bully stick.

Our favorite thing in the box is the Superior Farms toasters. As soon as I opened the bag they smelled really good in a gross dog treat kind of way, which made Lola and Lucy very happy! Apparently they are 100% lamb lung – yummo! But seriously, even when I put the bag up on the counter, the dogs kept staring at it.

BarkBox January Jax and Bones Toy

I always think the toys that come in our BarkBoxes are disappointing. They don’t seem lab puppy tested and approved and this month’s rope penguin is no different. This is what he looked like after Lucy had her way with him for about 30 minutes. I don’t think he’ll last a week in our house, I worry about her swallowing pieces of rope.

It’s clearly exhausting being dog models! I mean seriously, perk up girls!

How’s the Turkey Cranberry treats. That is why you subscribe … 1 toy for every month 🙂 Happy Tasty Tuesday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

The turkey cranberry ones were good – my girls will honestly eat anything, they never met a treat hey didn’t like! These ones are a decent size, too.

Looks very similar to the Bugsy’s Box we reviewed this week. I used to think a subscription box of toys would be the most fun of all, but after seeing yours (and mine), I guess not 🙁
