I picked up the Lululemon Dog Runner pant while I was shopping a few post-Christmas sales last weekend. I have literally put them on almost every day since then! They are the perfect pant for hiking or playing around at the dog park on cold and damp days, and that’s most days in Pittsburgh in the winter! These don’t replace a snow pant, but they are water repellant and I was pleasantly surprised to see the rain bead up on them.
Review: Lululemon Dog Runner Pant
The best part of these pants is the medium weight legging lining which is super cozy and stretchy. The outer pant is water resistant like I said and actually super light and swishy, but somehow still warm. There are two zippered pockets at the hip which accommodate a few treats perfectly, but a roll of poo bags would stick out, so keep those in your jacket pocket.
If you’re on the short side like me, these pants have a drawstring hem that allows you to cinch them up a little, making them perfect for me. Lululemon offers free hemming, but I think if you did that they would remove the drawstring part.
Unfortunately, since I got these on sale, I guess they are now out of stock! I was so sad that I couldn’t find them on the Lulu website to share with you. There are a couple pairs on eBay, but just so you know, the original price was $118, and I bought them for $69. So don’t overpay!
